Meet the Chef's
Twisted Tamales LLC founders Quentin and Gretchen Pridemore, founded Twisted Tamales LLC on a vision: to offer affordable, high-quality, wholesome tamales in response to growing consumer concerns about antibiotic and steroid use in food production. Our commitment to quality over quantity is paramount. We utilize fresh herbs and spices grown in our on-site greenhouse, and source proteins exclusively from USDA-certified farmers. Our recipes feature gluten-free, organic oils and homemade, low-sodium broths. The Pridemores are pleased to accommodate various dietary needs, including vegetarian and spice-free options, upon request. Through perseverance and faith, Mr. and Mrs. Pridemore have transformed their vision into a thriving enterprise.
Twisted Tamales' globally diverse culinary experience has informed the development of a refined blend of spices and herbs, resulting in flavor profiles designed to appeal to a wide range of palates. Our house-made broths and stocks, combined with Twisted Tamales' signature ingredients, create a unique and unprecedented flavor profile within the tamale category. At Twisted Tamales, we elevate the traditional tamale, offering a culinary innovation unlike any other in Latin American cuisine.Â
Twisted Tamales is a Florida Department of State-registered small business concern, SAM.gov-certified as an American Indian and Woman-Owned Enterprise. Our five-person team produces 500–600 tamales daily. All Twisted Tamales products are made fresh to order and available for pickup within 24 hours. We offer event catering and food truck services for organizations requiring a Latin American culinary vendor. Twisted Tamales provides nationwide shipping with 48-hour delivery directly from our kitchen.
